When producing my photoshoot for my magazine I had to ensure everything within the image was perfect and exactly how I imagined it to be. In this photo, you can see we are trying to create a stage like image for the background of my main image. This was to give the image used for my front cover, contents or double page spread a clear music based genre that the audience could clearly understand and be attracted towards. I also had to think of the mise en scene and the lighting within the room when taking the photos, as you can see we have placed a blue cloth in the background to give it a block colour behind my models so that their facial expressions were clearly noticed and it wasn't distracted by a very distinctive colour in the background.
Also the lighting, as you can gather from the photos, was high key lighting with a bit of back light behind the cloth to give it a shodow feature. This was to make sure that the image clearly presented the characters faces and I decided to make it bright and colourful as it connotes how this type of audience like to feel when they listen to their favourite music.
